{"id":260,"date":"2017-06-16T11:34:48","date_gmt":"2017-06-16T15:34:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.textiles.ncsu.edu\/mpasquinelli\/?page_id=260"},"modified":"2023-11-13T15:17:16","modified_gmt":"2023-11-13T15:17:16","slug":"research-overview","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/faculty.cnr.ncsu.edu\/melissapasquinelli\/projects-and-publications\/research-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Research Overview"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The focus of our research is to develop and apply simulation techniques \u201cfrom the nanoscale\u201d to optimize the properties of soft materials, starting from the molecular building blocks (nanoscale, 10<sup>-9<\/sup> m) and working toward the microscopic (~10<sup>-6<\/sup> m) and macroscopic (&gt;&gt;10<sup>-6<\/sup> m) scales.
