Mirela Artner and Chisom Umeileka took off on June 15, 2023, for a 4-month research experience at Laval University in Quebec. Under the supervision of Dr. Jacopo Profili and Professor Gaetan Laroche, Mirela and Chisom are learning all about plasma!
Specifically, Mirela is working on plasma treatment of biobased nanocellulose films, while Chisom is developing new barrier films to improve the efficiency of flexible organic photovoltaics. They have been welcomed and fully integrated by this motivated group, thank you Dr. Profili!
