On June 17, 2024, Mirela Artner (she/her) defended and successfully passed her PhD thesis on Understanding the Processing-Structure-Properties Relationship of Cellulose Nanofibrils Towards a High-Quality Grade for Packing Applications. Her work was supervised by Dr. Nathalie Lavoine and Dr. Melissa Pasquinelli and evaluated by Dr. Joel Pawlak (Department of Forest Biomaterials), Dr. Jacopo Profili (Laval University, Quebec) and Dr. Jack Wang (Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources, and Graduate Student Representative).
