From plants to peacocks, black holes to drug delivery, the winners of the 2021 Envisioning Research contest highlighted the myriad ways that their work shows us the beauty of our world – and helps us understand it.
The contest is a collaborative effort by NC State’s Office of Research and Innovation, the Graduate School, the NC State University Libraries, the Office of Undergraduate Research and University Communications and Marketing. Envisioning Research was open to faculty, staff, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and undergraduates.
In the Video & Interactive category, Joseph Gutierrez has received the Honorable Mention for his work, Biomimicking Structural Colors with Wood Nanocrystals.
