ConEcSus

ConEcSus research group working on bioeconomy, sustainability, and value creation

We are at the heart of value creation for the bioeconomy

The Conversion Economics & Sustainability research group is conformed by a multidisciplinary team ranging from fundamental scientists to business practitioners. Our research is at the heart of creating value for the Bioeconomy, evaluating alternative materials, sustainable manufacturing pathways, and bio-based products, and understanding how those fit in the new era of sustainability while meeting financial and performance expectations.

The strength of our group relies on our complete systematic analysis across the whole value chain, combining: feedstock supply and delivery cost, conversion process simulation and economics, life cycle analysis, financial analysis, and overall risk and mitigation analysis.

With more than USD 10 Million in funded research

and 12 projects under developmentĀ
