  • Introduction to Environmental Science (ES 100) – Evaluates the interrelationships between human populations and the natural environment. 
  • Forest Soils (FOR 472) – Evaluates how forest soils form in the natural environment, but also their relation to forest management and sustainability.
  • Analysis of Environmental Issues (ES 400) – A capstone course for students in environmental sciences to use analytical approaches for solving environmental problems, and for communicating results.
  • Exploring the Environment (ENV 101) – Introduces students to what NC State can offer students interested in the environment, environmental problem solving, and sustainability
  • Silviculture (CNR Forestry Summer Camp; FOR 204) – Evaluates and applies ecological principles to the production of multiple benefits at the forest community level
